Beautify with YAMAMAY

Alo alo aloha! Cómo estáis acabando la semana? Seguro que con la novedad que os traigo podéis incluso comenzarla mejor J ¿Qué tal si os digo que Yamamay no sólo nos trae colecciones estupendas de lencería y bikinis…sino que también se apunta a la cosmética?

Algunas firmas similares como women’secret metieron la patita con una interesante línea de coloretes (de la que hablé en CORALísimos!) y glosses, pero la italiana Yamamay va un paso por delante y apuesta por una línea completa de maquillaje. Bajo el nombre de Yamamay Beauty, nos trae desde bases de maquillaje pasando por esmaltes, brochas e incluso protectores solares.

En el post de hoy comentaré mi experiencia con labiales y esmaltes, vamos allá!

Alo alo aloha! How are you ending this week? I hope you’ll be able to start it better with the news I share today J What if Yamamay not only brings awesome summer and lingerie collections but also cosmetics?

Some similar brands like women’secret launched an interesting line based on blushes (I talked about on CORALísimos!) and glosses, but the Italian Yamamay goes further and bets on a full cosmetics line. Under Yamamay Beauty, it brings from make up to nail polish, brushes or even sun screens.

Today I’ll share my experience with lipsticks and nail polish, so let’s go!

Lipstick Pop Coral Pink

Perteneciente a la Colección Miami, este labial me llamó la atención por su tonalidad, como no coralJ. Si bien no tiene una duración espectacular, se caracteriza por dar jugosidad al labio con una pigmentación muy buena (lo difumino con los dedos así que imaginad). Su efecto hidratación es un plus, pero igualmente necesito de un primer/bálsamo previo. 

Otro de los detalles que lo hacen especial es su envase, cuadrado y siguiendo la tendencia del negro MAC o Nars, le da un toque de elegancia que se complementa perfectamente con la estética ‘princesa’ de su tipografía rosa.  ¿Y qué me decís del packaging? Un look chic muy femenino, ¿no creeis?

El tono es un coral rosado vibrante, y en el stand podéis encontrar incluso otro más neón y tirando a naranja (Fluo Coral, también de la Colección Miami) que os apasionará. Dudé entre estos dos, pero como Fluo me recordaba a mi lipstick Flormar L14 opté por el Pop Coral Pink (un +1 para el nombre!).

Belonging to Miami Collection, this lipstick attracted my attention because of its shade, coral of courseJ. It hasn’t an spectacular long- lasting but it gives juiciness to our lips with very good pigmentation (I blur it with my fingers so imagine). Its moisturizing effect it’s a plus, but I need a previous primer/lip balm anyway.

Another detail that makes it special it’s its container, squared and following the NARS or MAC black trend, it has an elegant touch that perfectly combines with the ‘princess’ esthetic of its pink typography. And… what about the packaging? A very nice and feminine chic look, right?

The shade is a vibrant pink coral, and you can also find more intense orange neon on the stand (Fluo Coral also from Miami Collection) that you’ll love. I doubt which one chose but as Fluo reminded my L14 Flormar, I chose Pop Coral Pink (nice name!).

Esmalte Fluo Orange

Iba buscando un esmalte naranja bien marcado y gratísima sorpresa! Vi justo el tono que iba buscando, el nombre lo define a la perfección. En el stand había dos tamaños, si bien en la web sólo encontraréis el más grande. Como no conocía la marca, escogí el pequeño para probar aunque me habían recomendado coger el de mayor tamaño porque el pequeño era más acuoso. Pues bien, no sé cómo será el grande, pero el pequeño es una maravilla, con una capa cubre a la perfección (siempre doy dos + top coat para lograr un acabado más bonito). Me ha encantado el tono y el acabado mate sin el típico brilli brilli que no soporto.

I was looking for an orange nail polish and what a nice surprise! I saw the perfect shade and its name defines it perfectly. In the stand there were two sizes despite you’ll only find the bigger on the web.  As I didn’t know the brand, I chose the little size to try it despite the shopper assistant recommend me the bigger because the little was expected to be waterier. Well, I don’t know how the bigger is but the small one is just marvelous, with only one layer covers perfectly (I always give two +top coat to get nicer result). I absolutely love the shade and the matt finished without that typical shiny shiny I hate.

VEREDICTO/ VEREDICT

Muy recomendable! Y ojo que aún no os he hablado del precio: el esmalte pequeño rondó los 3,50€ y el labial 6,50€, o sea en la línea Kiko-Flormar más o menos. Os dejo link a la web con productos y precios: http://www.yamamay-beauty.com/it/.

Lo encontré por casualidad en El Corte Inglés de Cornellà, desconozco si en las tiendas Yamamay estará disponible, sería lo suyo lógicamente, ya investigaré.

Hola de nuevo! Tenía muchas ganas de retomar el tema con el que inauguré mi blog vía coloretes CORALísimos (click para ver primera parte), como sabéis es mi tono preferido y de bien seguro será la estrella de este verano.  Veamos ahora qué os parecen mis labiales.

Hi again! I was looking forward to pick up the topic I started the blog with via CORALísimos blushes (click to read first part), as you’ll probably know this is my fab shade and I’m sure it’ll be the guest star this summer. Let me show you my collection of lipsticks:

De izda a derecha (from left to right): MAC Lipgelée, NYX Orange Soda, BOBBI BROWN Nectarine, KIKO Soft Orange, FLORMAR 14, MAC Viva Glam Nicki Minaj. En el suelo (on the floor):  ESSENCE Lip liner Nude Coral

-          ESSENCE Lipliner Nude Coral: perfilador mate más bien sequito pero de tonalidad ideal como base para asentar cualquier labial coral. Aconsejo usar un primer/bálsamo para hidratar el labio antes de perfilar./ Matt lip pencil rather dry but with the ideal shade as a base to settle any coral lipstick. My advice? Use a primer/lip balm to moisturize the lip before outlining your lips.

-          MAC Lipgelée Slicked Pink: gloss con muy poca pigmentación, pero la justa para resaltar a un labial coral mate dándole el brillo justo y necesario sin resultar pegajoso. Como todo labial MAC, el característico olor a vainilla es un plus./ Poor pigmented gloss but with the necessary to bring any coral matt lipstick out giving the precise shine without being sticky.  As any MAC lipstick, their vanillas smell it’s a plus.

-          NYX Lipstick tono Orange Soda: nude coral por excelencia,  muy aprovechable con el bronceado veraniego o combinado con un look smokey. Como buen labial NYX, pigmentación espectacular en una sola pasada, por lo que me veo siempre obligada a difuminarlo para no dar el cante./ Nude coral par excellence, very usable shade with summery tanned or combined with an smokey look. As any NYX lipstick, amazing pigmentation with only one coat, so I’m used to blur it to wear it in a comfortable way.

-          BOBBI BROWN Treatment Lip Shine Nectarine: mi más reciente descubrimiento, se trata de una barra de tratamiento que ayuda a hidratar los labios. Podríamos pensar que la pigmentación es tipo ‘cacao’, pero no, en una sola pasada se evidencia claramente el tono. De cara al veranito haré un post más extenso porque es un producto muy recomendable para esa época. Ojo, SPF 15, mipunto! Y aunque sabéis que no soy fan de los brilli brilli, su brillo lo encuentro jugosito y asumible en mi exigencia./ My latest discovery, that’s a treatment lip bar that helps my lips being moisturized. We could expect its pigmentation being like a lip balm, but surprisingly with one coat the shade become gorgeous. In a proper future I’ll write a post focused on this product, as I consider it very advisable for this period. Alert, SPF 15, +1 guys! As you also know, I’m not fan of shiny shiny lipsticks, and this shade has the just shine to become juicy and acceptable.

-          KIKO Lipstick tono Soft Orange: tono naranja vibrante de acabado frost y sólo apto para valientes. No tiene una pigmentación espectacular si hacemos un swatch sobre la piel, pero os aseguro que en los labios destaca tanto que sólo me atrevo a llevarlo difuminándolo con los dedos o mezclado con un tono nude./ Vibrant orange shade with frost finished and only for brave. If we make a swatch on our skin, it could seem not pigmented, but I promise that it brings out so on my lips that I have to blur it or mix it with a nude shade to wear it comfortably.

-          FLORMAR Long Wearing Lipstick tono 14: ya os hablé de este labial en el post ‘GettingCrazy at.. FLORMAR!’(click para verlo) Neón adorable aunque pelín sequito, usa un primer/bálsamo y solucionado./ I talked about this lipsticks in a previous post called ‘Getting Crazy at.. FLORMAR!’(click to check it) Adorable neon despite being a little bit dry for me, use a primer/lip balm and solved.

-          MAC VIVA GLAM con Nicki: También he ido hablando de este labial de ed. Limitada de MAC en el post ‘Viva el GLAM…and so NICKI!’ (click para ir al post) Qué deciros, mejor ver los swatches, como os decía no acaba de resaltarse en foto lo bonito del tono. Acabado satinado, duradero, más que correcta pigmentación y una buena causa (M.A.CAIDSFUND.org.), qué más queréis???/I have also been talking about this limited ed. MAC lipstick in ‘Viva elGLAM…and so NICKI!’(click to go to the post). What can I say? I let again the swatches that I’ll try to improve to show you how vibrant this shade is. Satin finished, long lasting, more than acceptable pigmentation and a good cause (M.A.CAIDSFUND.org.), what else can we desire???

VIVA el GLAM…and so NICKI!

Estoy de vuelta de nuevo chic@s! Disculpad estos días de ausencia, las vacaciones y los imprevistos no se han alineado esta vez y aquí me tenéis fichando ;)

Bien, hoy os traigo una de mis últimas adquisiciones que de bien seguro l@s MAC adict@s tenéis más que controlado, el último lanzamiento de la colección VIVA GLAM con Nicki Minaj. Como sabréis, la colección incluye también un bálsamo preparador labial vía Ricky Martin, pero el lipstick merece sin duda mención aparte.

I’m back again guys! Sorry for being missing these days, holidays and unexpected didn’t meet this time so here I am punching in ;)

Well, today I’m bringing one of my latest acquisitions that MAC Addicts will surely have more than controlled, the lastest launch from VIVA GLAM collection with Nicki Minaj. As you’ll know, the collection also includes a lip conditioner via Ricky Martin, but the lipstick deserves a special mention though.

Tuve que esperar algo más de un mes para hacerme con él dada la concurrida lista de espera, extensa incluso antes de su lanzamiento. El packaging como siempre, diferenciador con el contenedor rojo y la firma de Nicki tanto en el éste como en el propio envase.

I had to wait one month to get it due to the looong waiting list even before its launch. The packaging is always original, with its red container and Nicki’s signature on it and on the packaging as it’s shown.

Sobrada es mi adoración por los tonos coral (que sí pesada!), y como este labial es descrito como un rosa amarillo intenso, está claro que rosa+amarillo = coral, yuhu! Así que bienvenido al hogar. Se trata de un tono satinado, por lo que en mi caso tiende a resecar y el uso de un buen primer/bálsamo es necesario.

For sure you all know my adoration for coral shades (yes, what a pest!), and this lipstick is described as an intense yellow pink, and pink+yellow = coral, yuhu! So welcome home. This is a satin shade, so in my case it tends to get my lips dried and using a good lip conditioner is mandatory.

Descubrí esta firma italiana de casualidad el pasado mes de Diciembre, esta vez no a través de foros y blogs sino paseando por un centro comercial de Almería, ¡tierra que adoro! Me llamó la atención la variedad de productos y el atractivo colorido del stand,… ¡iba buscando un regalo de Reyes y me llevé media tienda!

I discovered this Italian company last December by chance, not by blogs of forums but by walking in a mall from Almeria, my adored land! The wide variety of products and its colorful stand attracted my attention…I was looking for a Christmas present and I took almost half shop!

La marca es muy conocida en Turquía (donde tienen fijada la producción) y lleva en activo más de 30 años. Actualmente ofrece una amplísima gama de productos de maquillaje y cosmética en general. Según me informaron, en los últimos tiempos se han lanzado incluso hacia los perfumes y productos de cuidado personal. Para que os hagáis una idea, la calidad-precio es muy similar a KIKOy cuenta con muchos más puntos de venta. Así que chic@s, para las que no tengáis un KIKO en vuestra ciudad, ojo que esta tienda es una alternativa muy buena!!!

This brand is well-known on Turkey (where they have production located) and started 30 years ago in Milan; nowadays offers a huge range of make-up and cosmetic products. According to the assistants that served me, the brand has lastly launched perfumes and personal care products. To help you get an idea, quality-price is very similar to KIKO and it has even more points of sale.  So guys, if you don’t have a closer KIKO in your town, this is a very good alternative!!!
